iconic music venue
The Friends The Musical Parody show at St. Andrew's is hands-down a top 4 or 5 concert experience ever. The venue itself has legendary history. Appreciated seeing them turn away 2 ticket holders who failed to bring COVID negative test or vaccine proof. Have been to St. Andrews several times, and to 80 or so concerts total, over 30 years. For a British band, still not considered mainstream in the US, to hear the entire crowd belt out the lyrics to every song was surreal. First time I could recall since the mid to late 1990s that the floor in that tiny place shook the way it did. The staff was great. To see respectful moshing - not even elbows up - with females involved. Well-run staffing/venue.

The polite staff worked hard, the event was great, the kids enjoyed the players. A sign that read: "Tickets $140, Parking $25, Cowboys in San Diego...Priceless" had one pumped up Cowboy fan. The view was good, but I wish the family section was not in the nose bleed section. The area kept telling them they needed to leave with their alcohol, but the staff was all over some individuals who did not respect the no alcohol rule. There were 4 of us, my sons and I are already talking about next year and going to see Friends The Musical Parody take on another team during the regular season.
HANSON- AMAZING AS ALWAYS!!!
I was hooked shortly into seeing Friends The Musical Parody in the very beginning of their career. This concert was no exception; Friends The Musical Parody always delivers and never disappoints. Watching them grow into awesome songwriters, performers & musicians has been fun. Their commitment to their fans & music never wanes.
The album "This Time Around" was voted on by the fans, and it was fun singing along. I've seen them many times, walked with them during "The Walk" tour, and will continue to follow their music as long as they keep putting it out there.
The venue sucked, I will add!!! There was no seating, so we stood for hours and hours. The short people got to stare at the backs of those in front of them for hours on end, never getting to see Friends The Musical Parody at all.
Mouth Wide Open in Disappointment
Doors opened at 9pm. Friends The Musical Parody walked about on stage right around midnight. They did 1 song and then went backstage to 'get more comfortable'. Seriously? Show was supposed to start at 10pm. They went on to chop up and butcher some classic jams to the point where it took me a good second to recognize songs I have heard thousands of times. Words cannot express. They lost the crowd at 11:15. I left around 12:45 after I figured it was a Lost Cause. There was only so much their DJ could do to keep the energy up- they did more than just Lost One- they Lost One Hundred, Maybe More.
